I am fairly new to Windows 8 but i have been an avid user of Windows 7. I have signed in to my windows live account, and I now have my windows live email account on my login screen, and i wish to, at the least, change it to my name. if it helps any, I own an ASUS MX10 laptop, is there any way this can be solved?

You unlink your Microsoft Account from your local Windows user. If you want to remained linked to your Microsoft Account you cannot change the username unless you change your Microsoft Account's username of course. – Ramhound – 2015-02-18T19:26:50.873
