I want to hear what's going on in the music, but it's a bit too fast. I want to temporarily slow down it.
I can edit the tempo, listen/edit, then edit the tempo back; but it's too invasive.

It is about Audacity. Audacity is audio editor, Rosegarden is MIDI editor. There are mostly notes, pitch, instruments, tempo etc. there, not samples and effects. – Vi. – 2015-01-04T19:55:03.260
