I am trying to find the correct date of the photos taken from the Nokia lumia 520 phone which I bought in September 2013. Some of the pictures that I took from the phone give wrong date details. Pictures details say that the photo was taken in 2012 which is impossible as I didn't even have this phone. I would really appreciate if someone could help me in solving this issue.

Was the data set correctly on the phone? If the date was wrong on the phone, then the last modified timestamp and any metadata timestamps would be wrong as well . . . – ernie – 2014-07-29T23:39:23.380
Hi Ernie, Thanks for replying and I think the date and year were set wrong on the phone as well when the picture was taken. Is it possible to find atleast the correct month as I am arranging my pictures and some of them are related to my school work, therefore it will really help to atleast find the correct month – vik – 2014-07-30T00:28:16.443
