The taskbar at the bottom of my screen is unresponsive for the last week, despite the fact that I've shut down and restarted my pc many times. It is extremely annoying to switch between windows without the use of the taskbar; I need to go back to the desktop and click from there. I'm using Windows 8.1. Anyone have any suggestions?
Have you tried a system restore to a date where your taskbar was working? – Jakke – 2014-06-23T23:31:12.297
I'm not very computer-savvy. Can you please explain how that works? – Tammy – 2014-06-24T02:03:36.670
Dunno about your taskbar problem, but hold town <kbd>Alt</kbd> and press <kbd>Tab</kbd> to switch between your open applications more easily. – HopelessN00b – 2014-06-24T02:08:10.383
What's <kbd>? (excuse my ignorance!) – Tammy – 2014-06-24T02:27:46.903
this is a tag used here to highlight keyboards keys. But it doesn't seam to work in comments, only in answers. – magicandre1981 – 2014-06-24T04:25:32.307
