easy win+p switching between a dual monitor setup (extended desktop) AND a TV..?

0

My question is about "triple" display quick switching; My setup is the following:

2x24" monitors in my work room (displays #1 & #2)

1x32" TV in my living room (display #3)

All 3 are connected to 1 PC

(2 monitors via display port, 1 is daisy chained to the other And the TV is connected through a hole in the wall between the work room and the living room, using a DVI to HDMI cable)

I am looking for a solution of how to setup win+p or similar shortcut that will allow me to switch easily between these 2 modes:

A. Displays #1 & #2 are active (extended desktop on 2 monitors) TV display #3 is disabled

B. TV display #3 is active, other #1 & #2 displays are disabled.

Any input would be appreciated.

(I am running Windows 7, but i'll upgrade if Windows 8 has a better built-in solution for this)

Thanks!

@techie007 yeah i saw that thread; i was wondering if what i want is possible thorough windows built in methods: without ultramon or any other propitiatory software. – ktopaz – 2014-04-24T17:10:15.133

Even if the answers seem to suggest utilities, it still the same question: "I was wondering - does windows7 have any built in commands for selecting monitor 1+2, or 1+3 and just 1". By getting answers that only suggest 3rd party utilities tells me that there is no way to do it without them. If you'd like newer/updated answers to the question, I'd suggest earning some rep and posting a bounty on the existing question to draw more attention.
