I'm using the soundcard above with Studio One 2. Everytime I'm starting SO2, the playback speed of all the audio output is decreased by 50% except Studio One itself. And yes, I already checked the "Release soundcard in background" option.
After I closed the program I have to restart the sound card via Control Panel to get it back running properly. In Device Manager the card is showing correctly. I've reinstalled the newest driver for the TASCAM and the onboard soundcard several times, but unfortunately it does not help.
OS: Windows 7 64
CPU: i5 4670k
Mainboard: asus z87-a
Onboard soundcard: Realtek ALC892
Does it have an asio driver? Have you tried asio4all? – jamesson – 2014-03-22T20:36:42.080
Yeah already tried that. Didn't work. – seri0x – 2014-03-22T22:07:24.133
In what way? When you open the S02, did you select the asio/Asio4All driver as the output device? – jamesson – 2014-03-23T00:40:40.357
Yes, but somehow I get no sound. I have the usual problem that the audio output is blocked by something. Tried that MS GS Wavetable thingy but didn't work either. And overall I don't wanna be dependent on asio :/ – seri0x – 2014-03-23T17:24:16.220
