Chromecast can't list WiFi (d-link dir-645). Is there any possibility to "adjust" somehow router to be visable for chromecast? Router isn't on the list of verified chromecast devices.

2.4Ghz is the standard Wifi frequency, and is not likely to be the problem. Most likely reason for not seeing it with Chromecast is that the network is secured with a level that Chromecast can't handle,or that the Wifi channel has some interference with some other wifi device(s). I suggest you take the device with a laptop or tablet to some public Wifi spot, to determine if it is able to see the network, before perhaps exchanging it as defective.
