telnet localhost 25 not working on company domain network with win7

when I try to access my own PC (already tried 127.0.0.1, 'PCNAME' etc.) with command prompt via SMTP it always displays the No Connection message. How do I configure my PC correctly so this is possible, or is it possible at all?

Telnet is working on Exchange Server and IIS is active and configured – user261001 – 2013-10-09T07:14:40.113

What is the specific error you are getting? – Rudolph – 2013-10-09T07:56:17.260

os is in german, so roughly translated: Connecting to localhost...No Connection could be created with the host on port 25: Connection error – user261001 – 2013-10-09T07:59:31.443

My best guess would be either 1. The wrong smtp port or 2. Intercepting occurrence from the firewall. You should isolate the problem by checking these. – Rudolph – 2013-10-09T08:04:15.547

what do you mean by wrong smtp? I enter "Telnet localhost 25" in command prompt, isn't port 25 smtp? already tried without Firewall, still nothing – user261001 – 2013-10-09T08:07:51.713
