Windows 7 gadgets changing place when I move from dual monitor to a single one
I'm having an issue with Windows 7 on a laptop. When I dock my laptop I put all my gadgets on the right edge of the screen. When I undock it, they stay on the right edge on the smaller screen resolution. But when I dock it again, they all stay where they were on the smaller sized screen instead of snapping back to the right edge on the larger desktop. Is there a way to get them to always snap back to the right edge of the screen, no matter the screen size?

smaller screen resolution? Do you mean that when it's docked, your main screen is an external screen, while you obviously use the built-in LCD screen when undocked? – Snark – 2009-11-03T22:30:40.493
