Outlook 2010 - Forward as attachment, with signature

0

I've set up a rule for mails with specific subject to be forwarded as attachment. This works fine.

However I want to have a standard signature/text in the mail with the attached file. The normal standard signature (File -> Options -> Mail -> Signature) doesn't seem to do the trick.

Any ideas?

Is the signature selected for Replies/forwards:? – CharlieRB – 2013-09-27T13:54:38.240

Yes. However I have a theory as to why it won't work - if anyone can confirm or deny this:

The reply doesn't contain the signature, because the forwarding is happeing on the server, and the default signature is only active in my outlook client. – Nimmer – 2013-09-30T05:26:37.760

That is a very good point. I think you'd have to get it to force a client action like moving it to a non-public folder. Then forward it from there. Here's some information about the difference between "server-side" and "client-side".
