My laptop Acer One D270 is getting very slow (slow processing) after I upgrade from Win Starter to Win 7 Ultimate via Bios (as the win stater crash). I installed all the drivers Graphic driver is Intel. But still after I did this its not working as it was before. Any suggestion will be much appreciated.
1st Window: Window 7 Starter
Current Window: Window 7 Ultimate 32 Bits Windows installed via DOS (sorry its not from BIOS)
If Win7 Ultimate 32Bits is too heavy for the laptop, will Win7 Home work? or should i just go back to the previous window? The laptop was not slow before but after i installed window 7 ultimate 32bits it became slow. Installed complete drivers.
Between just a question, will it be possible to install Win xp? Because Win Starter is soooo basic.

CPU: Intel Atom N2001.6 GHz, 1MB L2 Cache
HDD: 250gb

That's a somewhat old PC (or it feels like that). This review. does mention that it isn't a fast machine. What were you doing before with the PC to state it was fast and now? Try to describe as many details as possible.

When i purchase it come with Windows 7 Stater, last week it crash and its not bootable, i tried with system restore from BIOS but it failed and also with system recovery, still it failed. So i decided to format everything and re-install Windows 7 Ultimate (which is not the windows (stater) that comes with. After installation is done its getting very slow, so i though it might be because there is no Graphic driver (Download all the drivers for this laptop and installed) But still the same. Have you really installed all drivers? Check the Asus Support page. Install the chipset driver also. Check if the display drivers are updated; if you have them installed check for updates on Intel's page. Although @magicandre1981 question shouldn't matter, maybe the Ultimate version is just too powerful.

You would be better off editing your question and putting this information into your post. Include if it is 32bit or 64 bit, examples of slow processing, explain if it's intermittent or always slow. What version of Direct X is installed? Your processor is slow, I have the same one, it's not (IMO) designed to do anything clever, hence why it ships with Windows starter... My honest opinion is, put starter back on!
