With Nvidia's naming scheme I'm having a lot of trouble looking for a card that isn't a repackaged fermi or even older architecture.
For example I was looking at the GT640, but the GF116 GPU is Fermi, basically the same from a 550Ti except for some differences like GDDR3 instead of GDDR5.
Is there a list?

Unfortunately, Nvidia (and AMD) will put out new cards using old GPUs. So the lower end of Nvidia's 600 series will contain old gpus in it. Usually the high end stuff has all the new cool stuff, but the low end cheap stuff may not, as people don't question what is in it. OEMs like to use this hardware, making their stuff look better then it is. Mobile parts are especially bad. – MJD – 2013-08-24T15:55:05.713
