Cropping image accident in Photoshop CS5

0

I was trying to crop an image in a layered .psd file, and instead cropped out the entire rest of the layers and only have the one little image I was trying to crop.

It won't let me revert. How do I get back to my layers?

3What did you do after cropping? Did you save the changes? Close Photoshop? – Dennis – 2013-02-11T16:55:58.243

Open the history window and go back in the steps to before the event occured. Otherwise go back to a previous version of the file. Barring that, often the second recreation is better than the first version. You've got a good idea of the steps used and can often be quicker at recreating than trying to find what's not there anymore. After 18 years of doing this, backups are king... – Fiasco Labs – 2013-02-11T17:11:29.543

Thanks, I'll try the history. This is a HUGE reminder to always do a Save As version when opening the file to make changes. Thanks for your help. – betsy – 2013-02-11T17:44:58.847
