I have KM Player and Windows 7 Codecs (some pack from Filehippo) installed in Windows 7 Professional 32-bit installed on a Packard Bell Easy Note ALP AJAX C3.
When I play HD videos (I only tested one TV series) there is some background noise (like interference on mobile phones or bugs on the line).
I tried setting KM Player to use both external and internal codecs, but neither fixed it.
The video is good and there is no delay in the sound.
Any ideas on how to get the sound to play correctly?
may be your soundcard and video drivers are conflicting.Try updating both – Mithun Madhav – 2014-10-09T10:37:07.350
I would try installing VLC Media Player and checking if the audio problem still occurs. – amiregelz – 2012-07-29T20:18:12.703
> Windows 7 Codecs (some pack from Filehippo) You installed “some pack”? That’s like saying I ate some stuff I found. It doesn’t sound like it is a codec problem; it sounds more like a driver problem (make sure you have the latest sound-card drivers installed). (Unfortunately I’m having trouble finding anything official for that specific laptop; what is the model number? e.g.,
EN TM89
,EN TX69HR
, etc.) Also check if volume has any effect. – Synetech – 2012-07-29T20:28:51.293>
