For a while there I found videos that are 42 minutes long, and are great quality. The resolution is 624x352 and when going full screen they still look pretty great.
I recently came across an episode of House on my friends computer, and it was 94.6 MB! Same resolution, same quality, same length – but I just don't know how it was done. I check out the media info on my media player classic and it tells me it was encoded with MKVmerge, however I tried it and I couldn't really get the point of it.
I know there is a tonne to learn about video encoding, and I'm willing to learn to an extent - but is there anyone that could tell me how to get a 350 MB AVI file down to a 95 MB MKV file without losing any quality?
Aaah i see, That actually explains alot. Thank you! – Chud37 – 2012-06-26T11:35:15.827
