First, I don't think this is a repeat of other questions that sound similar (because it involves the same warning page).
Second, Browser information: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:13.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/13.0
Here's the deal. In older versions of Firefox, the browser gave the "This Connection is Untrusted" warning, but there were two expandable areas. There was the Technical Details area, and an "I Understand..." area that you could expand. Upon expanding the "I Understand" area, you could click on the "Add Exception" button, and go merrily on your way. For some reason, that "I Understand" section is gone in this version of Firefox! Is there some way... maybe some setting in Firefox that will give users the option to add the exception? I repeat, this is NOT a question on how to make the https trusted out of the box, but instead a plea to find out how to let the user work around the issue by confirming the Security Exception. With the Add Exception button gone, I'm scratching my head and wondering where to go from here.

But all the Add Exception button does is add your certificate to the list of trusted certificates. There might be a workaround, but it will probably be harder than just adding your certificate manually. – FrederikVds – 2012-06-13T20:33:09.477
