My desktop (HP dc7800) has two 1GB DDR3 modules in it, and slot for 2 more. I tried to add (working) 2x1GB sticks of DDR2, 667, PC5300U. But got angry beeps and no boot. Any ideas?

Installed Product Bulletin in W7, nice program. – Moab – 2012-05-03T01:20:42.693
I took parts out and made sure the sticks were really sited in. Not sure why, but after second try it started working. Dust? Grease? No idea. – unknown – 2012-05-03T03:19:17.933
Most likely enough dust interfered with one or more of the contacts in the slot itself. But... I'm glad it was something simple. – Bon Gart – 2012-05-03T18:14:39.417
