How do I email a word document in Outlook 2010 without it sending as attachment

I just got Microsoft Outlook 2010. Is there any way to send an open word document without having to send as an attachment? This is something I do many times a day & with most of my clients, it would be easier for them if they can see the email message without having to open an attachment.
