Ubuntu Firewall to Sophos xg210 Firewall

0

I've inherited an Old linux/IP tables Firewall, along with a new Sophos xg210.

I'm not very proficient at Linux or the commands that I need to use to view everything that I need, however I need to transfer all rules to the Sophos and then swap the connections over. Is there an easy way of doing this, or is it literally going to be on by one on the Sophos NAT rules? - An import possibility etc.

My fear is that I don't pick up all of the rules form the Linux Firewall (I presume there will be more than just the NAT forwarding rules and ports).

Any advise appreciated.

I'd start on Sophos' site. Their setup guides are very comprehensive & as a hardware owner you qualify for their tech support [I have a freeware BYO appliance so I don't]. I've still found their online help/forum structure to be massively useful. – Tetsujin – 2020-02-18T15:18:13.777
