I bought a new HP OfficeJet Pro 7720 printer which came with the original ink cartridges, when I used them all (just the black one) my father bought some non-oem remanufactured ink cartridges for a fair price.
When I put them in the printer I got an error saying the black ink cartridge is empty. Is there a way I can make them usable or am I doomed in paying the official high priced cartridges from HP?
The printer has access to the Internet I blindly accepted the always update the system if but I think I disabled it by factory resetting the whole printer.
