Running macOS Catalina 10.15.2 on a 2019 Macbook. I use a USB keyboard.
If my Macbook has been running a while, I notice that my keyboard shortcut for screen inversion, CTRL+SUPER+ALT+8, stops working (no matter what program has keyboard focus). After rebooting the computer, the shortcut will immediately work again.
(aside: it might be an anti-pattern to use inversion to keep my screen dark but I've been doing it for a decade and have no plans to change)
I am unsure that any particular event is causing the change in behavior. What configuration elements and troubleshooting is recommended for this kind of problem?
