I am creating an image using yocto for raspberry pi-cm3. I recently moved the system from sysvinit to systemd and after that switch the splash screen stopped working. I was using psplash to generate a splash screen.
I have been reading online and it seems like psplash is not compatible with systemd. Is my understanding correct?
Also how do I create a splash screen for systemd? Right now, I am achieving it by creating a service that has a 20 second timeout. Which is not Ideal. Is there any other way of creating a splash screen?
