In Word or Outlook 2019. When users select a block of text and then right click within that selection, the "highlighting" for the selected text disappears. I can reproduce this fairly regularly. It seems that if the mouse moves slightly either right or left when right clicking, the selection disappears. The users are frustrated. What can I do to improve their experience? I've tried disabling hardware acceleration and I've altered the mouse properties by unchecking "Enhance Mouse Precision." Neither have helped.
This is happening with a Lenovo mouse and also with a Logitech mouse. Is this a known issue? I've only found a couple of references to it. (Does this happen with Office 365?) Thank you.
