I want to record a long installation process on a remote windows session (Windows 10). I can start a record software like Camtsia or Microsoft Expression Encoder on the remote machine and start the recording. Everything is fine - but the image freezes if I minimize the RDP window or lock my host machine. It stills records - but the image doesn't change until I restore the RDP window on my host.
How can I force the remote computer to continue with the rendering?

1Have you tried other ways of remote access maybe teamviewer or VNC? I suspect that when you minimize the RDP window is it treated similar to when you close the lid on you laptop, everything continues to run but the graphic drivers of the remote machine are turned temporarily off. – Ricardo Bohner – 2019-12-10T11:52:31.427
