how to reload a remote file that is already open with sublime text after it's been modified with vi text editor on terminal

I have a remote file open with sublime text3 using sftp plugin. However I sometimes, out of habit, modify the file via Vi text editor by SSHing. I want to see the changes I made via VI on also version that is open with sublime text. Is that possible? I installed a reload plug in for sublime but it seems not working. Thanks in advance,
