i'm trying to build a wifi communication test environment. It's required to include the vendor specific elements in all management frames. I'd like to know if all wifi chipsets(the firmware and driver) are capable of that, since it's not the standard information elements according to the IEEE802.11. Or are the monitor mode and packet injection necessary?
