I like word smooth typing cursor, however after I transitioned from Windows to Mac the smooth typing feature does not work on my Mac. Is there a way in which I would be able to enable the smooth cursor feature?

The feature isn't available in Word for Mac currently. According to what John Korchok said in the thread Typing animation for Microsoft Word in MacBook, This feature was added to version 16.6, then removed from 16.7. The typing animation gets way more complaints than praise, especially from fast typists.
