nvme SSD not recognized after cloning a (hardware raid 10 sata) disk onto it using clonezilla

I had a RAID 10 VROC array of cheap SSDs that was degraded (1 out of 4 SATA SSDs dead). The array was degraded, but still worked. It had a GTP partition table and the regular 3 partitions that get created when installing Windows 10 onto an empty disk (EFI, recovery and actual system partition).

I decided to perform a full disk-to-disk copy using clonezilla live CD from the degraded SATA Raid 10 onto a single NVME SSD.

The clone succeeded, but now the NVME does not get recognized by Windows anymore - not at all - not even as uninitialized disk. using 'diskpart list disk' does not list the disk. The only thing still seeing the disk is the motherboard's efi shell. There it's listed as BLK0 of media type 'unknown': enter image description here

since the original Raid10 was handled by the mainboard (VROC) I suspected it to be completely opaque to clonezilla and just appear to it as regular disk - maybe that expectation was wrong? Might the clone have copied over some info that now makes the nvme unrecognizable anymore by Windows?

How can I 'factoryreset' the nvme SSD in that case?
