Bypass HDD Password prompt from bios and boot into liveusb Linux

Question

Even when spamming the bios key, it will not do anything but give me a password prompt when trying to get into bios / boot with a locked hdd.

I would post an image but I don’t have the reputation needed. It’s a blue box that says “HDD Password Enter User Password: [ ] Press ESC to enter master password “

EDIT: As Eg Grim suggested, here is more info. The “HDD” is a m.2 ssd, previously in a Lenovo laptop where the hard drive password was set on, the bios is American Megatrends - using the Aptio Setup Utility.
