Why are there directories called Local, LocalLow, and Roaming under \Users\<username>?
I've been poking around some of folders on my Windows 7 Home Premium install, and I've noticed that in AppData
I now have three folders:
- Local
- LocalLow
- Roaming
What is the difference between all of these three folders?

Roaming
was<user>\Application Data
andLocal
was<user>\Local Settings\Application Data
(there was noLocalLow
because it did not have the higher security lock-down that Vista+ have). – Bobson – 2011-09-20T21:37:14.373
