How to prevent RDP session from going inactive

0

I am connecting to a Windows machine via RDP that can have only 2 users logged at the same time.

After I log, I start a long running program that, obviously, must not be interrupted. However when I asked a colleague to try to login to the machine I see that on the "Choose a user to kick" dialog my session is marked as "Away".

Is there a way to prevent the RDP session from being marked as "Away" even when you are not making mouse or keyboard events?
