I tried installing miktex but my hard disk ran out of space. After deleting some files I tried reinstalling again and the error message "the specified installation directory is not empty" keep coming up. I then tried to remove all the download files (in the Miktex download files folder) and download the files again using the wizard. But the error message kept coming up.
I emptied my recycle bin after manually removing the download files, I also looked up for remaining files in file explorer but was not able to find any. I tried methods from here http://www.uninstallhelps.com/how-to-uninstall-miktex-2-9-4250.html#Method5 but the files could not even be located.
Would appreciate any advice!
