I am using Ubuntu 19.04 Desktop and I am trying to figure out how to get it to boot to rescue/single user mode. I've tried holding the shift button at boot time as well as doing the same with the escape key and space bar to no avail. Doesn't seem to work the same as with Ubuntu 18.04 and previous versions. Help would be appreciated. Also, the system is booting via UEFI.
