MacBook Pro 15” (2018) + 4K Monitor LG 32UD59-B = No retina resolution support?

Hello,

I bought a LG 32UD59-B as my external monitor for my MacBook Pro. I am very disappointed with the fact that the ideal resolution is 1920x1200. Of course I can put the 4K one and it’s a high quality but everything is so small.

I actually don’t have the options that we have on the MacBook Pro Retina that says “Larger text” or “More Space”. The only thing I have is a list of resolutions.

My MacBook Pro has a Radeon Pro 560X 4GB GDDR5 GPU. The monitor is 4K.

Can you guys help on this? How could I have a retina mode on my monitor? Is my monitor incompatible? If so, what’s missing?
