Has anyone experienced a network crash on a Mac when running Media Encoder v13.1.5?

I've got a user who trying to run an encoding from Media Encoder v13.1.5 build 35 for Premiere 2019. Occasionally while doing this it seems to crash the network connectivity for the system which requires a full reboot.

The Mac OS version is 10.13.6 and the destination is network storage. When encoding is done from Media Encoder within Premiere 2018 on the same system there has never been an issue.

The other odd bit about all this is how the network connectivity goes down if I check in the network settings it shows the connection to be active and physically unplugging or plugging back in the cable is accurately reflected. All other network connections on the system, however, are completely cut off so pings to the system don't work and going into any app using a network connection won't work (including Terminal as the system is using an AD account).

I'm looking to see if anyone else has seen this issue and if so if they found any way to prevent or fix it. Otherwise if anyone has any suggestions on things to test before I look at opening up a ticket with with Adobe that would also be very helpful.
