Unable to connect arrows to shapes in Microsoft Visio

0

I've been using Microsoft Visio for a project to document how different data flow connect to each other. This involves using the connection points to stick an arrow to a shape. This has been working fine for the past few weeks, however it suddenly stopped working for me.

The weird thing is is that for some shapes it still works but for others it doesn't. When I recreate the shapes on another tab in the same document, the connection points are there but when I copy them to the main tab the connection points disappear. I've also tried to copy the main tab to another document but then the problem persists.

Does anyone have a solution for this?

Thanks in advance.

Have a look at the layer properties. Is a layer set to Locked? – Paul Herber – 2019-10-15T09:05:13.157

Thanks for your answer! I've opened the layer properties, but all of the boxes in the column Lock are unchecked. – Dionp – 2019-10-15T09:35:39.183
