what is the indexing and crawling setting in blogger?

I plan to start writing blogs but when i jumped into blogger i came across some setting like indexing and crawling what are those and what will if i leave them as disabled enter image description here

please help because when i change the setting before my site were excluded how can it be fixed? or i can leave as it is
