Debian armhf sd card installer: How to run in qemu/libvirt?

0

Think you've got a Debian armhf installer on an sd card, as in http://ftp.debian.org/debian/dists/stable/main/installer-armhf/current/images/hd-media/SD-card-images/README.concatenateable_images - so zcating partition.img.gz and some firmware.<board_name>.img.gz.

How can I run precisely such an image (e.g. as qcow image) in qemu via libvirt? Any board is okay; as near to Banana Pro as possible.

Any information can be helpful, e.g. virsh command lines or config values, but xml would be preferred.

I tried many things I found on the internet, but it seems all a bit aged, or doesn't work for my case. Configurations either didn't power on at all, or screen remained blank with full cpu consumption.
