There is a dovecot that has been working for 5 years and has accumulated millions of files in one folder. I can not read these files or see their sizes, etc. Is it possible to use dovecot tools to spread them into subfolders? Does dovecot work with subfolders? now dovecot uses maildir engine for storage. Will the switch to mdbox help me not get this in time? df -i says that there are nodes.
