I have a database instance Oracle 11g Express. I' ve done this and now i have to make the front-end using Microsoft Access. I tried to link my Database with Access by doing this:
(on Access) Exernal Data > New Data Source > From Database > From SQL Server
(on new window) Link the data source > select date source (pc source) and there is no Oracle
...so i tried with New > Microsoft ODBC for Oracle, but at this point i have an error something like Couldn't find the client and the network components of Oracle(tm)...
How can i solve this?
docs.microsoft suggests to check HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSDTC\SOFTWARE\MTxOCI and i have
OracleOciLib = oci.dll
OracleSqlLib = SQLLib80.dll
OracleXaLib = xa80.dll

1The problem was Access installed in 32-bit. If you are facing the same issue check if all the software is in 64-bit. – Racma – 2019-08-29T22:16:37.327
