I'm trying to understand the video write speed for SD cards. I found info in this link: https://www.sdcard.org/developers/overview/speed_class/index.html There is a table that shows three different classes: Speed Class, UHS Speed Class and Video Speed Class. I don't understand how an SD card can have a rating of C10, U3 and V90 like this one: Transcend 64GB SDXC/SDHC 700S Memory Card TS64GSDC700S (link below). A class 10 (C10) has a write speed of 10MB/s, U3 is 30MB/s and V90 is 90MB/s. What am missing? How should I look at this? What's the minimum write speed for this SD card?
Thanks
2Video write speed requires use of a SD card mode that cameras employ. PCs do not use that "video write" mode. Video write speed is irrelevant for PC use of SD cards. – sawdust – 2019-08-27T19:11:11.063
