xforwarding from chroot doesn't work

0

I'm trying to setup X-forwarding from a chroot environment.

The host is a remote VM and I'm using Xming(and xpra) on MS Windows to display the windows. Now, on my host (not in chroot) I executed xhost + and got this:

access control disabled, clients can connect from any host

Great, I also confirmed that xeyes gets forwarded on my $DISPLAY which is set to localhost:14.0.

Now when I try to execute xeyes in my chroot environment, I still get this error:

Error: Can't open display: localhost:14.0

Why is this? How can I forward x11 from my chroot?
