Using drop down data validation in google forms

Question

I made a question in google forms that has over 250 possible entries in a dropdown.

Rather than have the user scroll through all 250 entries in order to select a building ID, is there a "data validation" feature similar to that in google sheets, where I can simply type a little bit of the building ID and then choose from a list of values?

I've added the "Form Ranger" addon to populate the questions for me from a google sheet, but I haven't been able to find a way to use a "data validation" feature to actually search through all the entries rather than scrolling through all the entries.
