Is there a way to use the (limited) On Screen Keyboard from Windows 8.1 on Win10 instead of Win10's (full-featured) Win 10 OSK?

I feel there are several annoying shortcomings with the new OSK, which, for me, outweigh the sophisticated Win10 feature, like for example:

  • No feedback what I type (highlighting buttons), resulting in an incredible amount of correction time,
  • constantly changing the OSK window's size inadvertently,
  • loss of characters when typing fast, the thing just is too slow,
  • removing the focus from the focussed window when opening the OSK, why does it do that, does it think I want just press buttons for the sake if it?

All these shortcomings were not present in the old static Win8.1 OSK, in which I could type very fast and accurate.

Therefore: how can I use the Win8.1 OSK?
