Here is a link of people talking about that keyboard config : https://www.techtalkz.com/threads/keyboard-layout-under-command-prompt.22022/
On Windows Vista
, the file to configure keyboard layout was KB16.COM
. For example, to set your DOS Keyboard in French, you had to do in CMD : KB16 FR
In older versions of Windows, it was KEYB
. So the command was KEYB FR
.
So when you went to C:\Windows\System32\
, you could find these files : KB16
, country.sys
, ...

For Windows 10, i can't find these files anymore. I don't know what changed between Windows Versions, so if someone could illuminate me about this. Don't forget that I'm not a Windows expert.
So here is my question : What are the equivalent files for Windows 10 ? What is the KB16 or KEYB equivalent?
If it doesn't exist anymore, how to configure keyboard in command line then?
