TSL warnings after changing hoster

0

It seems like having changed the hosting company and getting new SSL certificates some of our site visitors are having issues connecting to our website on the new server.

They get the follwing TLS error

"Unable to connect to this page safely This may be because the site uses outdated or unsecured TLS security settings. If this continues to occur, please. . . TLS security is set to the default setting, which may also cause this error"

Is this due to caching of the old SSL certificate in the browser's cache?

How do you avoid these issues? Is there a way to tell the browser the SSL certificate has updated?

Will it help to use SSL through an external service like cloudflare?

1Check your certificate and webserver if you are not using an older TLS protocol. – harrymc – 2019-07-26T15:21:57.040

1The error you have recieved would not be due to a certificate being cached. The error is specifically connected to what versions of TLS the host is accepting. Edit your question to indicate what versions the certifcate is allowed to use. – Ramhound – 2019-07-26T18:42:11.200
