I have imported SHA-2 certificates in our cacerts keystore but after adding when I restart the server I am getting error "Certificate chain received from was not trusted causing SSL handshake failure."
No idea what is causing this issue. Below is the server configuration.
- Windows 2003 Server
- Weblogic 9.2
- Java 1.5
Also when I check nodemaneger log I can see the below error.
"BAD_CERTIFICATE alert was received from . Check the peer to determine why it rejected the certificate chain (trusted CA configuration, hostname verification). SSL debug tracing may be required to determine the exact reason the certificate was rejected."
Please suggest if this issue can be fixed without upgrading the configuration as we can no upgrade. we need an workaround to use the certificate.
