I've inherited an Oracle 11g application for which there is a table space that references a data file, but the data file has no physical existence. It is offline, but considered available with no bytes in a locally managed data file configuration
Can the data file be dropped or altered in the table space somehow so that queries stop looking for it? (I have inherited this without any backups)
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
