Installing wine on a aarch64 chromebook running crouton

Question

So basically I have a Chromebook with Crouton and I want to install Wine, I already tried the Ubuntu repository but when I run apt update I get

N: Skipping acquire of configured file 'main/binary-arm64/Packages' as repository 'https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/ubuntu xenial InRelease' doesn't support architecture 'arm64'

and when I check the repo it indeed only has binary-amd64 and binary-i386 but on the wine website there is a post stating that there is arm64 support.

So am I missing something or, can you just not get wine on an arm processor?
