I'm really confused of how works the BIOS, firmware, bootloader in the chromebook of different architecture because someone's says the chromebooks don't have BIOS, other says have a seaBIOS other says UEFI, the firmware is open source other says no, other say use das U-BOOT and so on. So if someone can explain me this for different architecture I will be grateful.

There is a read-only bios which boots into one of two read-write BIOSes. You can install a developer mode BIOS. – DavidPostill – 2019-07-09T19:17:48.073
